The information about what happened at the embassy including explicit speeches by Clinton and Obama and a video of the actual attack were available very soon after the event.

Should we have had troops ready to intervene? How ready were the Libyans to give us permission to invade their airspace among other questions? We would not like it if the airplanes from another country came into our country to help us with a security problem.
