Their #1 talking point for the last 4 years just got destroyed. This was all they cared about for 4 years, which was ironic considering the budget mess was created by Republicans.

For every Republicon that complained about the deficit, there should have been a Democrat responding with facts on who ran the deficit up so high.

Dems let the GOP get away with this crap all the time, and it frustrates the hell out of me when they do. So many missed opportunities to reframe the debate.

When ever the GOP is right, they crow endlessly. When they are wrong, they never admit it, and never have their feet held to the fire.
They just go on the the next accusation, and dems just follow right along. Grrr.

Why do the Dems keep playing patty cake with the Republicans even though the Rethugs brag about how they plan to kick them in the teeth and then do it, over and over and over again? Is it that the Democrats are spineless? That doesn't add up. It makes more sense to me to assume both parties are reading from the same script, are acting on the same stage and performing their roles in the same play. If there is a better explanation, I need to hear it.

Even here we have some that figure there must be something to this since everyone is talking about it.

Another annoyance is Republicans take turns squatting to create this multi-layered effect and if you miss one kernel of corn in their pile of shit than they write you off as "uninformed".

without this sideshow of so called scandals to throw into the pot, heck they may as well take an early summer recess, come back in August, and hang out in DC till the holidays, because they surely are not about to legislate any new laws or confirm any appointees of Obama, so what else is there for the Rethugs to do, except go looking for the Boogie-Man

Oh yeah, about that deficit!?!?

Call their offices. Tell them they are hypocrites. Tell them that they are not getting your vote. Scare them into thinking the won't get reelected. Especially Boehner. Boehner has a Dem challenging him in the Dayton-Cincinnati area. We need to GOTV!

The last time the CBO estimated our future deficits was February– just four short months ago. Back then, the CBO thought deficits were falling and health-care costs were slowing. Today, the CBO thinks deficits are falling even faster and health-care costs are slowing by even more.
