Chris Hedges, a Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist, believes the U.S. government is busy hunting down whistleblowers when it should be concentrating on the embarrassing revelations.

6. It is ironic that this report was broacast on RT because our government started

seeking the capacity to monitor vast amounts of incoming and outgoing communication during the Cold War to defend/fight against the USSR and its massive regime of surveillance and repression. At least that was the excuse at the time.
