Papantonio: Time For Big Oil To Pay Up

The following interview originally aired on the July 7th, 2013 episode of Ring of Fire on Free Speech TV. The oil industry is responsible for countless oil spills, a large portion of America’s CO2 emissions, and for gouging consumers at the pump. In spite of that, they pull in billions of dollars a year in subsidies from the federal government. It’s time that the oil companies paid for their crimes. Ring of Fire host Mike Papantonio speaks with radio and TV host Thom Hartmann about the crimes of the oil industry.

to the Obama Administration, if the GOP can get Obama to agree to go to war near or in these unstable countries. Seems like the Administration is reaching far to the right lately, even secretly, across and around the Pacific. Has the president abandoned his power to use Executive Order to set up a Moratorium on Carbon clean up around America, like he did to BP for carbon clean up of the southern coast in 2010? Energy companies should all be made to reapply so their clean up manuals can be used to grant their return to extraction just like in the Gulf of Mexico. Seems like troops are leaving Afghanistan early.
