It is sad, when fiction do a better job - than reality when it comes to NSA, and the lack of a private life in the US this days - or for that matter - in all of ours lives anywhere on the planet...

It is some of the most intelligent entertainment programing I've seen. Excellent script with actual video footage from leaders and politicians interspersed in an intriguing plot.

I watched with closed caption and do internet searches into some of the issues discussed and was impressed....

Obviously the Newsroom is a fictional show and not everything discussed is from non fictional origins but the vast portions of the political discussions are.

I've been recommending the show to my less politically active friends. It's an entertaining way to learn about some of the ongoing poltical events in a dramatic setting similar to the concept behind the Daily Show for comedy.

What good do street demonstrations do us, when they can ignore us with impunity?

How long till they pull back the curtains and remove the stage props, leaving the brick wall in the back of the stage exposed?
