Chilling.

I'm really getting to the point where I just want to start removing myself from the internet.
At least going forward there is a chance that my privacy might stay intact.
As for the past, well that ship has sailed, unfortunately.
That kind of leaves a question:
If all of our communications are monitored now, how do we actually have free speech?
How do we communicate in a modern world?

Pretty-Good-Privacy is client side encryption. As I understand it, the message is not "in the clear" at any time during transmission. If your, or the recipients, PC is "bugged", all bets are off. Until quantum computing shows up. Then, "they" will be able to decode pretty damn quick.
