in England. I was surprised to see that most of the cat's homes had cat flaps on their doors and could roam at will. In my neck of the woods, there would be possums, skunks, raccoons, and who knows what else coming in through those flaps. Guess there aren't too many predators in this village. It was interesting that some of the cats visited other cats' homes at night and ate their food! What a fun project.

were destroying the local wild fauna...

I have seven cats, myself, and I allow six of them to roam during the day, but bring them in at night. (The seventh is fifteen years old and has always been an indoor cat.) There are all kinds of predators out at night, great horned owls, raccoons, huge possums, and for about two years, a bobcat. That bobcat got a bunch of neighborhood cats before we even knew it was around.
