MUST-SEE Jennifer Granholm clip: "Fired Up! A call to boycott 'repulsive, misogynistic' Limbaugh"
I've said this before, and I will say it again...any DU fans of Keith Olbermann or The Young Turks need to watch this show. I agree with some of the comments that have been posted...her first couple of shows may have been a vit stiff or tentative. That's all changed. Current TV's nightly lineup, 7PM - 10PM (Eastern) is TYT / K.O. / The War Room with Jennifer Granholm.
I don;t believe today's "apology" from Limbaugh should end the call for a boycott, either.

Most Republican people are mean-spirited, scared, small-minded, classless, selfish people. Its like they would rather go without than to share anything with anyone. AND they do it in a loud-mouthed fashion shouting match. Guess if they think they can speak louder and over you, they make their point.. When really, they just sound like loud, ignorant, selfish people.
As an example, I have a lady checked into the hotel where I work who is a prime example of this. You can tell she watches wayyy too much FOX, is very ignorant about any subject, and cannot connect why things are going downhill in her own life or who is really to blame.
She told me her sleep apnea is no longer covered under medicare. Obama took it right away. Her Dr. is getting out of being a Dr. because the costs are increasing and that he just had to modernize his medical charts and install all types of computer software (so no she's being "tracked" by the guvmint" .. Doesn't she know that medicare, whether on paper of on computer is going to be seen by government workers who are paying the Dr for his services.. and she actually has medicare and a Dr and many don't have a damn thing to cover their illnesses. But socialism is killing us. Its ruining the country. Then she interrupts a Canadian couple who were minding their own business and didn't want to partake at all. She asks them how they like their socialized medicine and how much their tax rates were? They tell her on avg 25% and they absolutely love their health care system that they have in Canada. It works well and everyone they know like it very much too.
Well, then the lady tells them they are sooo wrong and goes on about a story of some Canadian who came to America to get pancreatic cancer treatment (I honestly doubt she "knows" this Canadian... I think its a Fox news re-hash or an e-mail blurb that hit her in-box from a "friend".. .you know the e-mail crap that's sent as chain-mail and is full of lies. I didn't get to hear the specific details of what was happening because I had to help another guest, but all of a sudden the man got loud at her and said, "you asked me how I like the services that I have in MY country? We like them just fine. AND Obama did not bring down the world's economy that is making your family's lives uncomfortable and harsher, it was a direct cause of too much deregulation, and the banks bribing members of your congress and mainly Republicans to look the other way while they gambled on your Wall St. There needs to be tougher regulations and better oversight of your banks and of your Wall St. Don't think, for one moment, that I'm a miss-informed, ignorant fool who swallows lies and votes against my best interest. I'm on a month long vacation, am retired comfortably, and no medical emergency has caused me or any of my family and friends to suffer a bankruptcy for the costs. If you got your head out of your own behind, you would realize this "socialism" you speak so ill against is all around you. Your own damned military is the biggest "socialist", govt organization you have in the USA, and they wreak havoc all over the world" and then him and his wife got up, and stormed out of the office.
Well, that left her standing looking like an idiot. Then someone in the office had served in the military and she had to go thank them for their service and giving her freedom blah, blah, blah. My Brother in law who is serving in Afghanistan at the moment knows that he's not protecting shit, and he'd be better off working in the USA, helping to re-build what needs fixing here. And if there was a Govt program like the WPA or a massive hiring spree at the Army Core of Engineers, he'd be doing that in a heart-beat.. But you know, the Republicans are off drowning the govt in a bath tub.
What get's me the most is she doesn't even realize how selfish and piggish she is. She blames Obama about ObamaCare, but is on Medicare. The republicans are cutting govt money and services every which way and then she's bitching about services not being covered. Oh, and she pays into Medicare, its her right to get it.. I said so do I and I am being told I'm paying into a service that I'm to expect not to be there when I am at retirement age... So, I guess you can thank me at the moment for covering what care you have... and you know I also have to pay for my private health care that sucks worse than you could possible imagine being your worse day with Medicare, the govt. socialized medical care for retired persons... I left it at that and did it very sweetly. I don't fight with her at all anymore. She's not worth it. She's old, and will die before me, so its not worth my time.
You, my friend, are perspicacious and sagacious. Keep on the thinking cap!

The latest news does show the boycott is working however. And I sincerely appreciate it.
