This guy offers about 5 reasons why American Health Care costs are so high.

Have to watch it later as I'm otherwise occupied. Having worked around the health care profession for decades, I'll be interested to see another perspective.
Just a FWIW comment, some description of what is contained in the link might get more people to be exposed to the information.

5. I can think of 3 big reasons for high HC costs...

1. Profit
2. Profit
3. Profit

Big investor-types and stockholders with BIG portfolios can
make a boatload of profit$ of HC companies.
What is moral or ethical about that?

That has to end.

I apologize to some "people of faith" who are certain in their hearts that Jesus himself would approve
of our present system (Jesus was an investor who put profits over people, I guess. Who knew? ).
I beg to differ.

America needs to get HealthCare out from under the profit-system,
once and for all.

6. He's wrong about one thing.

The solution to the majority of those issues is a simple one: Single Payer. You know, the thing that saves all those other countries he mentioned so much money.
