(2,606 posts)Why would a african-american officer initiate something like that? I guess he's never seen any of the footage of the civil rights era.
I think the best way to stop this is for the ACLU or OWS to issue a "Miranda" statement publically to all law enforcement personnel notifying them of the public's rights under the first amendment. If those rights are violated the officers should be sued PERSONALLY. The first time one of them has to pay a million dollar settlement for violating the constitution a lot of this junk will stop.
