Related: About this forumRafael Cruz: LGBT rights and evolution are communist brainwashing...
Another video has emerged of Sen. Ted Cruzs father Rafael making incendiary remarks about politically sensitive topics. Last week it was the suggestion that Obama should go back to Kenya; this week its that homosexuality and evolutionary biology are Marxist tools to undermine the traditional family and destroy God.

Looks like Ted has a huge 'dad' problem that is not going to go away

(14,093 posts)Canuck Cruz's dad spews homophobia, birtherism and all stuff 24/7, at times while campaigning for his son, and Ted doesn't get asked about it by the media, let alone called on to denoucne it.

Cruz's father, who was born in 1939 in Matanzas, Cuba,[13][14] as Robert T. Garrett of the Dallas Morning News has described, "suffered beatings and imprisonment for protesting the oppressive regime"[13][18] of dictator Fulgencio Batista. He fought for communist revolutionary Fidel Castro in the Cuban Revolution[19][20] when he was 14 years old, but "didn't know Castro was a Communist."

(753 posts)whether its God or some space alien I don't know. But I'm also not one to deny evolution because I have seen first hand. In the early 2000s we were in a small island thats part of the greater Greek islands. In the islands there were small birds that originally came from the Sahara Desert, and in the late 60s the birds were dumped of there by people.
So the birds were able to adapt to their new island home. The Sahara ones still live and thrive in the desert, but evolution kicked in for the ones in the Greek Island. Because of altitude they developed bigger lungs, and in some of them their beak became slightly longer, easier to prey on fish that way. So in 30 years or so the birds changed vastly, though still the same species, but because of evolution different. Who knows maybe in another 30yrs or so they wont be able to breed with one another.
