with all government employees (including the president/Congress/Supreme Court), government contractors etc. Either you tax everyone who is paid with tax $$$ or you let this go. The testing cost alone is hardly going to pass a needs-benefit analysis.

It's just another way to slam poor people.

More like David Vitters, who had to endure a few days of bad publicity and then everything returned to normal, including re-election.

Radel got one year of probation -- barely a slap on the wrist. Compare and contrast that with what happens to ordinary Americans caught in possession. Once again the real story is the two tier justice system we have here in America -- it sucks.

Yet another reason to drug test politicians. Then drug and alcohol test before they go into session, especially if they are going to vote on any type of legislation. If they test positive, they can't vote or have any say in the writing of the bill, law, etc.,,,

His eyes are a lovely shade of red though.

A drug and alcohol screening process inked to access to participation in legislation, i.e., require proof that you're clean and sober before you can enter the workplace, because you are, after all, inherently untrustworthy.
