Congress is still on the fence about whether or not to cut Social Security benefits for millions of Americans. Republicans tell us that we have to cut payments in order to reduce our debt, hoping Americans don’t realize that Social Security has nothing to do with the national debt. But as always, there’s more to the story. Ring of Fire’s Mike Papantonio joins with Zoe Carpenter from The Nation magazine to discuss who is behind the push to cut Social Security.
