(224 posts)family plans under the ACA do not cover children under the age of two. Sounds preposterous to me, but can someone share a link by which I can readily refute this?

(171,065 posts)That's total bullshit. No segment of the population is not covered, especially children.

(4,341 posts)It is great, if you are I would like to make a small comment regarding the wording used.
I disagree that "the rollout of President Obama's health care law may have deeply disappointed its supporters..." His supporters understand that a new program such as the ACA will have its glitches at the beginning, and although not everything that we may have and still want is not part of this rollout, I don't think any of us are disappointed, and I do speak for myself, my family and friends.
Using that kind of language only fuels the right in thinking that we are unhappy with the current situation, and for all the people I talk to, who support the ACA, they are extremely happy that it has been rolled out, because we understand that this is the beginning of something better and bigger.
I have a lot of Republican friends, and they love it every time they see or hear a comment like that, it is for them a "I told you so", so I do my best to not give them the fuel they desperately search for.
Please accept this as a simple comment, I do not mean for it to be a criticism.
Thank you.
