Christmas Eve, 8 Eastern: Christmas in Connecticut. Be there.

On Turner Classic Movies. Here's my first three: George C. Scott's A Christmas Carol. Miracle on 34th Street, the original. Christmas in Connecticut, with Barbara Stanwyck.

So many food scenes and very funny. Horseradish! Nuts! I also love "The Bishop's Wife" because of the beautiful interiors, and the old atheist professor gives the best explanation for why some people still celebrate Christmas without Jesus or Santa, that it's the best time of year for looking backwards and having a Christmas tree reminds him of his childhood.
