It's kinda part of the job. I know that Bush has been very involved with disabled veterans, I'm sure Clinton has his projects and interests as well.

... but W should liquidate everything he can and give it to the thousands of disabled vets that HE created. Of course, I won't be holding my breath.

BTW - wonder what soup kitchen Paul Ryan was photo-op'ing in???

A war we actually have no plan to win. Think about that for a minute... we are at war, still, our soldiers are still dying, and we are not planning on winning. We abandoned that idea years ago. We're there just to be there I guess. So while I fucking LOATH Bush, and lord-knows I do, at this point criticizing him for these wars is as thin as a spoonful of butter dragged over a loaf of burnt toast.

We have been since 1941. But we can push Bush and Co. for Iraq at the very least. I actually think if it were JUST up to W, we'd never have gone into Iraq. But he (like Obama is) was just the hand-puppet that mouthed the words of the corporate interests who had their collective hands up his ass. So Chimpy's it as a point of focus for being drawn and quartered.

I can kinda-sorta give Afghanistan a pass since it WAS where Bin Laden was in '01. Even tho we've WELL overstayed our purpose there, the initiator was just - in a way. I don't think Americans would have stood for just alot of fuming, rhetoric and fist-shaking after 9/11. That we're STILL there today is inexcusable!
