1. What I realy like about this discussion is...

In spite of having clear differences, at the end of the conversation, the Thom and Neil parted ways in what seemed a friendly manner. It's important, now and then, to remember that while conservatives may be misguided and/or misinformed, they're still people like everyone else. Not an enemy. Not a group to Other-ize. Just people.

That and its very hard to break through confirmation bias when approaching someone as the enemy.
