But not so seriously, folks, Al Franken once did a routine about a suicide bomber who been ordered to blow himself up in a movie theater.

First, he went to a movie that had gotten so many bad reviews, nobody else showed up. Learning from his mistake, he chose a movie that had gotten great reviews. This time the theater was crowded, but he became so engrossed in the movie, he forgot the real reason why he was there!

2. Good story, but I could have done without the hand wringing

over whether the teacher was a hero for blowing up the class.

I imagine most Iraqis are delighted with this turn of events since it means 23 zealots are off the street permanently and that decreases the risk to their daily lives considerably.

It's the same sort of relief that was felt when the DC snipers were caught and whenever serial rapists are caught. That's just one more off the street.
