Insane Woman Rants About Islam, 9/11 At School Board Meeting

Marion County, Florida’s regularly scheduled school board meeting was briefly interrupted as the vice-chair embarked on an Alex Jonesy paranoid rant about what sounds like alleged attempts to convert her to Islam, the feds, a secret 9/11 code, hostage taking, and some guy named Ahmed.

Angie Boynton, who is endorsed by the local Tea Party, is described as ”typically quiet at board meetings” and as a person who “usually only makes brief comments” by a local reporter, but she broke from the usual script near the end of a televised Tuesday night school board meeting with a claim that someone wanted her to use the broadcast to communicate with them.

“There is someone watching this television show tonight who would like for me to respond to some questions for them, and so I am going to take the opportunity to let you know I got your message and I do believe that God is greater than any concern you sent to me.”

When asked about her remarks at the meeting, she explained that she deciphered a code during 9/11 and that she began receiving threats after the Marion County School Board discussed how a textbook addressed Islam. She claims that someone had taken her adult daughter hostage, and explained that someone had attempted to force her to convert to Islam.

Boynton says that when she took the alleged threats to police, she was asked if she was in therapy.

1. That's sad more than anything.

It wasn't really a rant.

The trouble is that the Tea Party stuff can lead people to have delusions because it's disconnected from reality by design.

2. It Seems That More Is Going On

Are she and her daughter being threatened? She seems to be talking about something happening that is unrelated to meeting business. It doesn't make her crazy.

My 2 clues are:
1. The rest of the group is letting her speak her entire peace.
2. The man to her left (our right) puts his hand on her arm and says something unintelligible, but the tone sounds sympathetic.

A lot of sane and intelligent people rely on their religion in times of stress and that's all she is doing here.

We may never know more of the story, but is seems obvious to me that there IS more to this.
