#GirlsCan: Women Empowerment | COVERGIRL

#GirlsCan: Women Empowerment
COVERGIRL is about discovering, encouraging whatever it is that makes a girl take up the challenge; break those barriers and turn "can't" into "can." COVERGIRL knows that with every barrier she breaks, the world gets a little more easy breezy for the next girl. And a little more beautiful for all of us. Watch COVERGIRL models Queen Latifah, Ellen DeGeneres, Sofia Vergara, Katy Perry, Janelle Monae and others help girls turn "can't" into "can." #GIRLSCAN

Great pro-girl commercial! It was aired a bit ago during the Olympic Closing Ceremonies.

... lots of awesome ads have come out in the past month.

If all you see is that it is an ad, then perhaps you missed the point of what the ad was saying.

Lots of cool women saying cool things in that ad, but...

This is an ad by a company that makes its money off the notion that women and girls need to alter their natural appearance before going out into the world and being seen by others.
Not exactly a bastion of female empowerment, there.
