Related: About this forumMiyam Bialik was on the Howard Stern show today
And she was very interesting. She talks fast and has plenty to say. She discussed parenting, feminism, life as a child actress, breast feeding, vaccination, home schooling, veganism, and other topics. I think most DUers will find her interesting.

(27,509 posts)3. Did you know she wrote a Vegan cookbook?
I love turning traditional Jewish foods vegan without sparing the deliciousness or heimishe taste of so many dishes I grew up with: rugelach, babka, sufganiyot, latkes, tzimmes, kugels, hamantaschen
I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that just because I am vegan, it doesnt mean I dont want to still make delicious food that suits all of my ethnic and gustatory needs, as well as those of my friends and family.

(3,657 posts)5. Recently she was on Maher's show.
He asked her how someone as intelligent as she is, could be involved with religion.
I thought that was a great question. She mumbled something about enjoying ritual
Wow...so not impressed

(146,288 posts)6. I'm old enough to remember her as Blossom.
I got a kick out of her character in that show, and then she disappeared to go get an education and was pretty much out of sight until much more recently.
The Blossom show was sort of fun, if a little oddball. I liked it.

(9,841 posts)7. She's fascinating to listen to - a true intellectual, a true individualist!
I don't agree with a lot of her positions, but she sure makes an interesting case for each and every one of them!
Great interview.
