I think this is the second time this week I've seen something suggesting the widespread availability of baseball bats in a place not generally known for playing baseball.

Or maybe as said above "baton" would be a better word. But some of the ones in other footage have definitely been baseball bat sized

btw, the video seems to be indicating what ive been trying to convey on DU for some time..

people don't know or understand the leaders and groups involved in the so called 'opposition' .. and im afraid many good spirited and intentioned ukranians have participated in something they don't even fully understand the consequences of yet :p running out one corrupt government to make way for the corrupt political opposition to take over is hardly a positive change :p
