Thom Hartmann: The Useful Idiots of the Corporate Elite

No! Paul Ryan and Fox News - black people are not causing poverty in America. So why are Conservatives so hellbent on blaming black people and inner city culture for America's poverty problems?

1. Thank You Thom Hartmann

Once again Hartmann uncovers the truth which clearly shows that republicans are lying, racists, bigots.
I can't stand it anymore. I've come to the conclusion that if you are a republican then you have to be a
lier, a racist and a bigot, because thats what the republican party stands for. It's how they interface with
the world....which is small minded and an un-evolved way to live in this world.

2. Sadly, Hartmann is "useful idiot" for Putin via RT.

Hartmann's 100% right about the mendacity of the RW, the GOP, and the ruling class of the USA. Too bad Hartmann, through his show on RT and his constant soft-peddling of Putin's dictatorship, refuses to admit that Putin's dictatorship is even worse than the corporate elite in the USA.

Mostly on DU I'll admit. But I don't recall him mentioning Putin.
And the corporate elite (both human and legal entities) are infesting far more of the world, than is in the sphere of Russia's influence. Maybe one mercy of Putin's style of governance is it's overt nature; the vampiretic incorporated world bleed you arid as covertly and slowly as possible.

6. Hartmann mentions Russia/Crimea daily recently

so you aren't really listening. Unfortunately, Hartmann goes so easy on Russia that it's embarrassing.

My cable monopoly doesn't show feature RT. Post it and I'll watch it.
I have gone to check some U-tube clips of Hartmann suggested to me, so that will also work.

His positions on American politics and corporatism, I generally agree with.

I agree with him in terms of corporatism and politics, also. About his little dance with RT and Putin, not so much. How can someone rail against corporatism and not against dictatorships in general?

2nd highest unemployment in a state ranked #35 in growth. And I know of no station that gets him. Could be one out of Madison.

13. Oh, spare us your concern

If we had to abandon every progressive who had to come to us via a company without blood on its hands, there would be no venues left. MSNBC/NBC is covered in blood. The New York Times is covered in blood. The owners are all warmongerers and war profiteers and war cheerleaders. Give us a break. This is the weakest objection I've ever seen.

Thom is one of the most truthful, fearless voices we have, and a pretty decent entertainer to boot. Like I said, if we have to be down on everyone who works for someone who crushes human rights, then your media sources would be essentially zero.

14. You're comparing MSNBC to the Kremlin and to Putin's dictatorship? That's ridiculous.

Liz Wahl's resignation showed that it's not some minor compromise to work with RT, it's a crushing sell out to a dictatorship that has been trampling democracy and human rights and is now invading and tearing apart nations by force.

...and focus your fire on your opposition. Ask ANY former or current MSNBC host if they are free to speak their minds. Remember Phil Donahue, or Keith Olbermann, or Martin Bashir or Cenk Uygur??? Do you actually believe that Ed Schultz or Chris Hayes or Rachel Maddow or Lawrence O'Donnell get to speak more freely on MSNBC than Thom Hartmann does on RT...???

You wanna rail on Putin? Why not rail on Phil Griffin???

I focus on RW 90% of the time. But Hartmann's affair with Putin is inexcusable.
I know many people don't get it, just like I don't get why people think it's no big deal that Hartmann collaborates with one of the biggest and ruthless dictatorships in the world.

But thanks for your message. Consider human rights as a standard, not politics

16. Good for him. Let me know when I can hear Liberal Voices on our Corporate Media. Why are we deprived

of actual Liberal Democratic Voices on the Corporate Media when we CAN hear them on RT? Do you object to Democratic Progressives being heard?

I stopped listening or watching our Corporate Media when they treated the likes of Breitbart and James O'Keefe as 'serious journalists'.

On RT I get to see people I will never see on the Corporate Media. And so long as RT gives voice to LIBERALS, I will continue to watch them.

Maybe you prefer Dick Cheney as an 'advisor on Foreing Affairs' which ou will get on the Corporate MSM. I prefer to hear the views of Chris Hedges on Foreign Affairs.

Dick Cheney? Really? MSM the propaganda machine that aided and abetted the lies that got us into Iraq. I WISH we had RT back then, I have a feeling it would have been the most popular news source on this forum.
