Mike Papantonio talks with Thom Hartmann about the ongoing war on voting where Republicans are ignoring the problems that are plaguing their party, and instead they think they can win elections by disenfranchising voters.

1. Not just driving their pols to the right

but away from any democratic notions whatsoever. Making it more impossible for their candidates to actually get votes or represent those voters and more reliant on seizing power taking the money. The message of the GOP that generally upsets those who want to have the status of actually having modest personal power is that they are making elections into a circus. Shut up and put on the clown make-up.

Gerrymandering and all these tactics disenfranchise and disembowel "Republicans" as well and relies on the barest satisfaction of being on the "winning" side against "those" people. Eevn if they get treated no better by the results than "those" people they first fought to disenfranchise.
