it is all a part of "the big swindle" that is led by the oil companies and their bought politicians. This is the same for most 3rd world countries.
Germany and other actual 1st world countries have transitioned most (all in some cases) of their electric needs into solar initiatives.
By doing so they can acquire solar energy cheaper than coal or oil because they were smart enough to invest in the initial
costs to convert their infrastructure.
The vastly wealthy and planet destroying oil and gas companies (Koch) own the majority of U.S. and other 3rd world politicians so they can profit hugely from their poison.
Yes, Amerika has fallen to 3rd world status with military expenditures that are higher than the rest of he world, COMBINED.
how long will we not UNITE AND STOP THE TREASON?

battery-less systems, mainly to save the expense

One system involves two reservoirs, a pump and solar panels. He uses the solar to pump the water up hill then has a micro-hydrogenerator on the top res.

Another had all his power lines taken down by an ice storm and then spent about $40,000 for a combo of solar, wind and micr-hydro. Now he is a consultant to other off-grid folks.
