(2,916 posts)some concert example of money stolen from retirements funds or for the video to be edited down to about 25 minutes. Could have skipped a lot of the first 20 minutes and the city montage.

(14,549 posts)being the hidden driver underlying much of the actions of those who work in finance. I think if you really want to understand the one percent you have to really hear that. There is CW that says 'money makes people happy' or that it makes problems go away. It makes some problems go away but it bring a lot of other problems. And money and happiness are two different things -- conforming to the culture of Suits, keeping your head down, grinding away for the long haul with the knowledge that they could be done on any given day -- that doesn't sound like happiness to me.

If it isn't illegal, it sure is immoral.
And as the video points out, a waste of the work of brilliant people.
Get a life, guys. There is more to it than money.
Nobody wants you to be poor, but what you are selling your time for is just stuff.
When you are in your 80s, you will look at all the stuff you have accumulated and wonder how you will ever get rid of it. Your kids, if you ever leave your computers to have any, won't want it. You won't be able to use it.
Get a life.
