I'm guessing my text was off-putting. I'm all for someone else running. But you can see the twinkle in Bill's eye, Clinton is running.

We've recently seen both Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter on late night shows. Both so impressive and charming in very different ways. President Carter is even more amazing the older he becomes. He was far too much a truly Christian person to be successful as a POTUS in the traditional way. I'm Agnostic, but recognize Carter as the true embodiment of the ideas that today's mislead, LOUD Christians keep going on about. As for Clinton, the rascal, he disappointed me, as a real liberal, in many ways. No argument that he's a brilliant man, who, to be reasonable, tried to work the middle. I can see how that made sense, but today's Republicans aren't our parents' Republicans. The term they coined for Al Gore and Joe Lieberman (retrospect mistake for Gore, but politically sane at the time), "Sore Loserman," couldn't describe Republicans with the last two Dem presidents any better. Dubya is painting (actually, good for him) and Cheney (we may have had other powerful figures who were near evil, but not bragging about it: the definition of megalomania) is running around the political talk shows saying that we should be threatening the world. It's like Stalin was peacefully out of power and showing up on the Sunday talk shows had they existed at the time. We can only be thankful that Cheney never achieved Stalin's power. He did slide in the back door as best as he was able.
