What was that about ASPARAGUS? Watch the infamous Gohmert/Holder show from today, where Holder tells

Congressman Turnip Head "Hold it buddy, you don't want to go there..." Watch right at the end when Gohmert's time expires, and somebody on microphone mutters something about ASPARAGUS. Who said that? Can anybody figure it out?

EDIT: Okay, yes, apparently it was Holder saying "Good luck with your asparagus" to Gohmert when Gohmert's time expired. I don't know about you, but I'm loving this new, improved, SARCASTIC version of holder.

This clip is also pretty funny, where the Chairman takes a beat after Holder says "Good luck with your asparagus," before moving to the next questioner.

He's all over the map, from court documents made available to defense attorneys of accused terrorists, to fast and furious to same sex marriage. What was the subject of the hearing anyway?

I can understand Holder's frustration having to deal with blubbering fools like Gohmert. His problems so way beyond asparagus. Imagine that guy as a judge. No wonder we hear about so many awful decisions by judges.

I read things Louie has said, and heard about him but.. egad, I never heard him talk.

Good golly miss molly. How did he get from terrorists getting reports to business owners beliefs about same sex couples?

I played it several times and ...was there an edit in there that I missed?

Poor Holder. It was like Biden having to be on the same stage with that nut ball from alaska.. What do you say to people that stupid?

YIKES!

BTW, this is the infamous "The Attorney General will not cast aspersions on my asparagus" exchange that Holder was making fun of.

. . . who is Mr. Gohmert calling a terrorist?

The fact that such a question needs to be asked shows how much contempt one might have for Mr. Gohmert. Or at least how much contempt I have for him.

I'm no fan or Eric Holder; I believe he should be booted from the Justice Department on his ass. While the Republicans want to impeach him, they won't dare impeach him for coddling banksters, something that might actually be a real scandal, but instead throw around a few fake scandals that are little more than the product of Darrell Issa's imagination.

That is where Louis Gohmert is coming from. Fast and Furious is a scandal, but doing next to nothing about mortgage fraud on Wall Street isn't worth the time of the Oversight Committee?

Gohmert is just a partisan hack without brains. He could be calling Khalid Sheikh Mohammed a terrorist, but he's just as likey to call one of the presidential dogs, Bo or Sunny, a terrorist. The Republicans on the Oversight Committee have no credibility.

representing alleged terrorists. That's what it sounded like, so please correct me if I'm wrong.

It seems disingenuous, similar to claiming that a state Prosecutors in a homicide trial made the state's evidence available to the killers!...(KILLERS!)...and before the trial started!

To defense attorneys. That sixth amendment thing about "nature and cause" and "public trial".

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense

As an ex-judge, you would think that Rep.(rehensible)Louie Goatbrains would be aware of that.

Is a disingenuous piece of shit.

To make matters worse, he'clumsy at it. As soon as he lost track, he defaulted back to an awkward attempt at a character attack regarding separation of church and state.

Come ON GOP! you send this dickless dickhead after the Attorney General of the US?
