It would be nice if each lawmaker in the House & Senate were required to spend one week (per session ) shadowing a job with real challenges.

... not that I'd expect the Republicans to gain empathy through understanding it first-hand. They don't care. They work for the bosses whose values are profits are everything; plunder & grab everything, no matter who's being stepped on; we are the entitled.
