because a "Weapons cache was found during cleanup of Occupy wall Street". If you recall those media headlines.

It turned out the "weapons cache" was a kitchen knife, you know the kind also used for cooking . Also "other potential instruments of violence". The description of which was non existent and the definition of which was vague and open ended. You can shiv someone with a fork, are they talking about forks? You can hit someone on the head with a frying pan, or whip someone with a tent pole. Go on a killing spree with shishkebab skewers. The reports of weapons at OCW were ambiguous and deliberately so. But the reports were also used to roundly to condemn the movement at Zuccotti park as "violent".

This is how yellow journalism is done. The double standard here should be obvious. Over a thousand right wing protesters show up at the Bundy Ranch armed to the teeth with weaponry, confronting investigators and law enforcement with every intention of shooting them if they don't back off. This is seen as all American and to be expected, praised even. While some left over cooking utensils at a predominately left wing protest is reason to condemn it as 'violent'.

America is witness to a simple truism. The similarity in Red State mentality is analogous to Al-Qaida, terrorism. Or, better Bundy should build a hospital with a church masque for children in the middle of his herd.

This effect is definite Bi Polar disorder, that intermittent explosive disorder, the IED types. It is characterized by extreme expressions of anger or impulsive aggression ~ Galileo is said to have this rage trying to convince everyone the world was not flat.
