The situation with the refugees on our borders made me think of this.
The director Jospeh Losey was blacklisted. The two writers of the screenplay, Ben Barzman, and Alfred Lewis Levitt were blacklisted.
I am surprised they did not blacklist Dean Stockwell for daring to star in it. America hated peace then. 66 years later and nothing has changed.
