'It's Madness! US opposes ISIS in Iraq, supports them in Syria'

RT * Published on Aug 9, 2014

Elite donors of American allies in the Persian Gulf region have poured an immense amount of resources into rebel groups like IS in efforts to advance on three general goals: opposing Iran, its ally Bashar Assad and his government in Syria, and fomenting the Sunni-Shia divides in the region.

1. Has anyone actually demonstrated proof of this claim?

I've seen this several times now, with different wordings, but is there any specific evidence that the US is providing any form of support to ISIS specifically in Syria? Saying we support groups in Syria 'like ISIS' is not the same thing as saying we actually do provide support to ISIS in Syria.

(Disclaimer - I tend to think providing war materiel to anyone overseas invariably comes back to bite the US in the butt, so I wish we'd quit doing it.)

you'll discover that it's US allies, not the US, and the allies are the Saudis, Kuwait, and Qatar doing the funding.

And it stretches things by going back to when we supported the Mujahadeen, which became al-Qaeda, which spun off the latest bloodthirsty scum.

RT is kinda fun, but useless for real news.

5. Well, our ''allies'' got them started.....

...after such swimming endorsements from our ''leaders.''

The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), now threatening Baghdad, was funded for years by wealthy donors in Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, three U.S. allies that have dual agendas in the war on terror.

The extremist group that is threatening the existence of the Iraqi state was built and grown for years with the help of elite donors from American supposed allies in the Persian Gulf region. There, the threat of Iran, Assad, and the Sunni-Shiite sectarian war trumps the U.S. goal of stability and moderation in the region.

And then we went and armed them with Saddam's old shit, and ours:

- So, I guess you could say we aren't ''supporting'' them. We haven't included a healthcare and retirement plan just yet.....

6. Well I just did a quick Google search

And there is plenty from the foreign press reporting that we did support ISIS trough Qatar and the Saudis, but nothing from western press.
But I do recall we were supporting the rebels in Syria openly and Obama wanted to bomb Assad before we raised a stink about it.
So I tend to believe we do and did because we wanted change of power in Syria...and now we have reason to spend more billions to fight them in Iraq...
And if not where did they get they get the weapons?

Sorry but I am cynical, and think the MIC is in charge of this not Obama.

7. Of course you can find plenty of info.....

...it's those who don't like what that info says who disparage RT. I pulled up countless articles confirming this from many of the so-called ''reputable sources.'' Most people these days are just mentally lazy from years of Big Macs and dumbed-down education. So they don't try. They wait for someone else to make up their minds for them. And the most people nodding in agreement is the way their flags usually fly.

Anyone with their eyes open and paying attention should know that Qatar and the Saudis are our go-betweens. They do the shit we can't get caught doing in the Middle-east.

Like starting this war.

And dumbed down TV news and programing.

No doubt in my mind we are manipulated by our media...to the point of only accepting them as being the only legitimate source.

4. American ALLIES pouring resources into rebel groups LIKE ISIS--

is not the same as Americans supporting ISIS in one country and fighting them in another. Fail. There are groups we support in Syria, but not ISIS. However, Russia would certainly like everyone to lump all of these groups together, since they don't want us supporting ANYONE who opposes their guy Assad.

So they did the same thing over there.

Here, you have Pat Robertson squeezing his eyes shut and thinking the resulting flashes of light are conversations with the Lord Jesus. (When it's actually pressure on his eyeballs)

Over there you have rich bastards who actually claim they are actual Prophets as if future Holy Books will star THEM.

THOSE guys are the ones our Right Wing goes to and tells them they'll make their dreams of being a supreme leader of millions come true. Along with the room full of gold and the harem full of silk.

The SANE ones who consider all that stuff in those bronze age books to have relevant life lessons about loving everyone and peace? Those guys are "The Enemy". They're weak and commie and deserve to be defeated.
