I was talking to my cousin about the need for universal healthcare and he immediately started talking about how he didn't want "illegals" to get healthcare. I asked him how we got onto the topic of illegal immigrants and said I thought his reaction was why things are so fucked up in this country - because so many Americans are selfish and want to prevent other groups from getting things, even if it means they must go without them too. Fools.
