(2,382 posts)Hey! Thanks for taking the time to respond. We've been AWOL for a while, but we're back!
Upcoming rants will address ways we might be able to put the fear of the electorate into those who forget we exist as soon as the last vote is counted. Mandatory, no-wiggle-room, publicly funded elections should be the first step.
Crushing corporatism into a puddle of blood and bone is the only hope for the survival of democracy in this country. A few hundred million pissed off voters are sure to get their attention.
Updates as events warrant!

Well done again sir! Your rants are appreciated by more than you know. I loved the "masters of the universe and their malignant minions" line.
Most people think that the job of any corporation is the make money for their shareholders. This is pure bunkum, the kind of drivel that pours our of our nation's business "schools". The whole point of any corporation is to achieve some level of limited liability. Great gig if you can get it.
As Thom Hartman keeps trying to teach us, the first job of any US corporation is to provide some benefit to society. The benefits to the greater whole is why a limited liability "pass" is conferred.
I wonder how Bain Capital or Haliburton has benefited the nation on the whole?
Thanks for coming to work!

(2,382 posts)...Your support is appreciated more than you know. The fight against corporatism is the most important battle we will ever face. Many think it's a "David and Goliath" scenario that we probably won't win. But they don't do their homework. David had a tremendous tactical advantage, and ol' Goliath never had a chance. Neither do the corporate behemoths.
There's more to come.
Thanks again,
Greg
