(10,103 posts)They coincide, mostly, with my own research on the subject. Frankly, I'm not convinced at this point that Israel has a right to exist....if her existence is at the expense of another people.

(29,047 posts)I generally use different definitions for the terms "rights" and "nations" than other people. What does "I'm not convinced at this point that Israel has a right to exist" mean to you?

(10,103 posts)if displacing the Christian, Muslim, and other inhabitants in order to rebuild a Nation in all of the land of Palestine, and committing so many atrocities to do so...does Israel have the right to the support of the west to exist. If they continue to use biblical mentions as a method of siting settlements, and inflicting on Palestinians all of the restrictions and collective punishments and foreign inhabitants? I am no longer sure that Israel has any right to do this, while taking all the best land, the water table, the minerals, oil and gas, and collecting people into cantons....this is wrong by any standards that I hold, including those of my long lost religion.
These things were inflicted on the nation of Palestine (and yes, they had a nation and a government) in reparation for the holocaust, being honest. Since that is the case, does Israel have a right to force their presence on a a nation that had nothing to do with the holocaust? I still don't know the answer. Jews will survive whether Israel exists or not, you understand. Judaism has survived the diaspora, and intermarriages, and assimilation. Israel may not survive what Israel continues to do.

(29,047 posts)I think I understand what you are saying.
I personally don't believe in the existence of rights, legitimacy, nations, etc., so to me, it's people killing people. I hate all these killings.

(8,395 posts). . . Does anyone else have difficulty viewing the second video? At around 11:07 something weird happens, where the picture begins to pixelate, advance in spurts and stops (the audio continues unaffecgted). Is anybody else running into this?

(6,699 posts)I have always had difficulty accepting the Jewish State, partly because what I knew didn't make sense. The first video reinforces that lack of understanding. Is there a rebuttal to the information in the video; because if not, I am anti-Israeli. I have always had difficulty accepting people who wear their religion on their sleeve...be it burkas (sp?), the twinky hats and curly hair and cereal bowl caps, Bible-thumpers who stick their loud distorted crap in your face on the street corner; but this puts me over the top. I've "accepted it", but have always disliked and not respected such traditional BS. Practice whatever beliefs you want; just don't stick it in my face or expect me to subscribe.
Now, these videos come along - and only the first one seems to work now - and creates more information anti-Israeli-state. What am I missing?
