As an American Canadian ( no longer an American citizen) I found this quite authentic.

In Canada we have real cheese put on chips (french fries) with gravy.

Kids often go to their prom in groups on the public transit.

For us above you all we see America as one nation under guns... with a motto that says IN Guns we trust.

And all of us know it, even the ones who pretend it is not true.

Oh and by the way, do they have sausage grave to put on those chips?...now that would be good...would not even need the cheese.

There could very well be a sausage gravy. There is italian poutine that is popular - tomato sauce and cheese. As for myself, I like vinegar, preferably malt.

There is a popular dish called a Horseshoe, which is Poutine's first cousin. You start with a slice of bread, put a fried hamburger patty on it, cover it with French fries (or "chips" if you prefer) and then pour cheese sauce over the whole mess.

I have had one. Once.

Are the peoples of any other country as fond of bumper stickers as Americans? Also T-shirts expressing the wearer's opinions about things. It's sort of funny that you can look at people's cars and know what political party they support from the bumper stickers.
