I like the term "tethered capitalism". That's the kind for me! Enthusiast Oct 2014 #6

man is brilliant and he knows how to heal capitalism.

I TOTALLY want him to be Sec. of Treasury under POTUS Sanders and/or Warren.

the people in the audience that keep laughing at stuff that Prof. Wolff is saying when he's really not trying to be funny. Don't they get it? I fully realize he is just one of those people who is naturally funny when he makes a point, but he even said it a few times: 'this is important!'

Other than that, I will say that I thought of trying to post this myself, but I knew somebody would take care of it. Thanks, marmar.

Unbridled capitalism run wild always winds up as a disaster for all but a few. We keep going through this cyclically as the collective memory fades.

Democratic socialism with a dash of tethered capitalism is the way to go, as I see it, for all but the Kochs and their ilk.

Level of education and top of the line health care should not at all be tethered to ones bank account.

It's time to really go to battle with the plutocracy.

his endeavors to educate the public-at-large. In the past he's advocated employee 'owned' companies with profit sharing and cutting out the middlemen such as the shareholders and top brass. This time he told his audience how little power the shareholders in today's corps hold.

Edit: to marmar~thanks for posting the monthly update!
