Of course they had to wait until he noticed that it was going to happen, the same as the coyote who hangs in midair until he realizes it, then hits the canyon floor. The soon to be dead guy was enjoying the fight up until the moment he saw Jones staring at the fan.

Is that they don't really care if their candidate looks stupid in a debate. Case in point..Rick Perry. Or even GWB vs. Al Gore.

In fact it probably helps them with the "I'd like to have a beer with him" crowd, because he wouldn't make them feel dumb.

For liberals, who are proven to be made up of the more educated in society, its damn frustrating. How do you ever win? If your candidate fumbles, he's criticized by both left and right, if a wingnut fumbles, and his more left opponent walks all over him, he is portrayed as endearing and the liberal opponent as a bully. Just another entitled, hollywood, champagne sipping limousine liberal.
