WATCH: Russell Brand Gets Kicked Out of Fox News Headquarters

For the last several weeks, actor Russell Brand has been filing regular reports on his YouTube channel that target various Fox News segments from hosts like Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity. In turn, his commentary has drawn the ire of Hannity along with The Five’s Greg Gutfeld, who denounced him as “commie scum” and a “fashionable fascist.”

Now, Brand has brought his web show “The Trews,” directly to the News Corp. building in New York City, where he showed up with his laptop this week in an attempt to confront the Fox News network head-on. Brand was doing his regular routine against one of O’Reilly’s recent segments when he was approached by building security.

“You can’t film here, this is private property,” he man told Brand, referring to the plaza in front of Fox headquarters. “You want to get arrested?” he asked when the actor initially refused to leave.

Later, Brand went into the lobby and attempted to get upstairs, claiming that he had been booked on Hannity but that the show canceled his appearance. “Tell Sean Hannity I dropped by to chat,” he told a receptionist.

After failing to make his way into the building, Brand said into the camera, “Whether the subject is Islamophobia or it’s just the freedom to be in a lobby, Fox is a difficult organization to work with. Whether it’s canceling booking for the Hannity show or kicking you out of their building, which they claim is owned by Beacon Management, it’s very difficult to have true freedom.”

Mediaite reached out to Fox News and according to Hannity executive producer Porter Berry, Brand was never booked on the show.

He had no problem working for Fox until they can cancelled his show Brand X. He is the quintessential narcissistic celebrity. Like Piers Morgan, he came to America after being fired from their jobs in media. They came here where they could dupe stupid Americans and make millions. Frankly, I wish Brand would take his caveman looking self back to England.

Because if you dare share your opinion after that, then that means you must be a narcissist?

Is it ok if you started out with a job of speaking out, such as Amy Goodman or Rachel Maddow and now because of it your may be seen as a celebrity? My head hurts.

This post is ridiculous. He does what he does because he cares about it. If that's not obvious to you then trying thinking a little harder or are you just seeking attention too when you voice your opinion. Don't be jealous.

wanted to and they didn't like it. Doesn't he get points for getting fired from Fox?

"I wish Brand would take his caveman looking self back to England. " You know he does look like a caveman and we certainly can't have that. Hannity looks so much nicer. Glad you pointed that out.

He is way too smart for them, and they could never out wit him or make him look bad. The fact they don't even want him in the building.. well, at this point, I am not even sure President Obama would be allowed in, if He showed up unannounced.

And he believes in policies that are aligned with most liberals.

But he comes across as too preachy and self-righteous.

There are better spokesmen for what I believe.

If his primary shtick was being a thorn in FOX's side, I'd probably like him better.
