1. Earlier in the day yesterday, when it looked as if Davis would win . . .

. . . I read an article (I forget where, exactly) that described Kansas under Brownback as a "failed Republican experiment." The thought occurred to me: how many "failed Republican experiments" must the country have before voters finally figure out Republicans don't know jack shit about the economy?

something comes along to prove they are. Articles said even Republicans saw Brownback was terrible for Kansas. Yet people voted for him.

And in Nebraska, a proposal to increase the minimum wage passed by about 60-40, overwhelming. You would think Nebraska would support Democrats. But no, they elect Republicans, whom they know will vote against a minimum wage hike.
