Black racists hate black people. Plenty of blacks self hate. Hatred of blacks is normal in America, so they pick it up.

shows me how well this culture has done a job on the already hated to make them hate themselves enough to be like this person. He's as deluded as the whites who claim we're in a post racial society and that there is no racism. It is truly an art that created this person and made him be this person. Self hate is something that took me 21 years to defeat, Vietnam helped a lot to dispel that white is superior BS. When I finally understood the mechanism that caused that self hate, I knew that I was in the fight of my life for the rest of my life. I wasn't wrong. Two battles to fight for this person, I hope he wins the most important one.

It took a lot of reading of slave narratives and books from the 20's and thirties to throw off the shackles and free my mind. I allowed myself to stop feeling sorry for being me. I stopped hating myself and them. I just feel sorry for them now.

This country sends messages about us to the world. And we internalize it and try to tell ourselves lies to make ourselves feel better about the horrific crimes against humanity this nation has committed. And still commits.

against this nations conscious effort to make one hate themselves by virtue of ones skin color. For the racist to feel they have to do this and by me being able to have this perfect example of the self hate that is created by institutionalized and systemic racism as this OP shows, I don't even feel sorry for them anymore. I feel nothing for the racist but contempt. The nerve to think they are better than other human beings!!!! Can't wait for the 'usual suspects' to show up on this one. This is an absolutely hateful culture when it comes to race relations, no doubt about it.

Must be celebrating with their real friends at Freeperville.
I am trying to stop feeling sorry for them. But I can't. I see racists as envious of us. Our strength, our resilience, our ability to laugh through tears, the way they are scared of a level playing field lets me know that it's all projection. The things they say about us apply to them times over. All one has to do is look at history to see who did what to whom.

As newly minted Green Beret - my dad was sent up to train and live with the Montagards (sp?). They tend to have very dark skin - but had never seen a person of African descent before. My father had a very dark complexion.

They called him Mr Dark Boss God.

They thought he was a God! .

He'd never experienced anything like that until he went to Vietnam. I've got to get my mom to scan in pics of him with those folks.

could be far worse? I mean.....a trend to advance (financially and in power) and attack one's own can create a crazy mob. Just what the whites would like.
