Actual wealth being a heart that can feel and share love, feel connected.

It is a biological need.
Mankind is meant to feel and share love and feel connected in family and comunity...it is necessary for our emotional development in children and feelings of well being in adults.

But the philosophy of greed has taken that all away from us, and self interest rules.

hear about this--if that hasn't happened already.

"All you can eat" promotions are based on the idea that very few people will take anything like full advantage of the deal. If this idea goes viral, that calculation doesn't work, so OG would pull the promotion as fast as they can without creating too much bad publicity.

I'm glad he was able to provide for those folks, and I hope he can keep doing so. I fear, though, that publicizing it might prevent future success. Keeping my fingers crossed. Maybe OG could drum up some good PR by getting on board with the idea and willingly participating in it. Pasta is cheap. The good PR they could get for helping him in his efforts would be invaluable.

If I were OG's PR company, I'd tell them to encourage people to donate their endless pasta passes to people who might need them more.

From their online FAQ:

Can I order Never Ending Pasta Bowl ToGo and use my Pasta Pass?

The Never Ending Pasta Pass is intended to be used in our restaurant. We know you're busy, so if you'd like to order ToGo with your pass you will receive one dinner portion with breadsticks and soup or salad. A dinner portion is a pasta/sauce combination and a single serving of the topping of your choice. Refills are not available with ToGo orders because you're likely at home in your kitchen and not at Olive Garden's Italian Kitchen. Online ordering of Never Ending Pasta Bowl is not available.

And I am sure that somewhere a jackass Republican is seeing that and equating the homeless to criminals and the act of assisting them to aiding and abetting.

I wish the world was a less ugly place...the man in the video MAKES the world a less ugly place.
Olive Garden, this man gave you more positive advertising in his acts of kindness than ANY of the millions you spend on branding and decorating and advertising over the entirety of your existence. THINK ABOUT THAT!

...they'll change the fine print on this offer and make it that you can only eat the never-ending pasta at the restaurant. As said, the idea is someone buys it and he and only he is the one who uses it.

And restaurants all over could take advantage of this kind of good will. But local governments would probably shut it down. Remember the 90 yr old man in where, Fort Lauderdale FL, who the local government arrested because he feeds the hungry on the street? Hey, I'd go to jail for feeding the hungry too.

I hope people take advantage of this guys idea. Like preparing meals for the homeless and delivering it to them. They can't arrest you if they can't catch you, huh?
Thanks, JeffHead, for sharing this great video!
