Now that they have our attention, it would be great if they could release an anti-Scott Walker song.

Til then, whenever I think of Wisconsin labor rights, I'll continue to think of Arcade Fire.

Walker will try to walk a tightrope this session.he doesnt want 100,000 people at the Capitol but he has to keep up his Tbag cred. He'll blame the radical stuff on his legislature and sign it cuz it is "the will of the people." (Meaning his corporate funders)

Reagan used both "Pink Houses" Mellencamp and "Born in the USA" Springsteen - his staff apparently didn't bother to consider what either song was actually about. Both artists (really? Of all the artists to pick!) quickly demanded that they stop.

Dole changed "I'm a Soul Man" to "Dole Man". Quick demand to stop from either Sam & Dave or their relatives.

Palin used "Barracuda" for about a week until the Wilson sisters (again no staff research) loudly demanded that she stop and they made very clear what they thought of her.

I think MCCain tried to use "Won't back Down" until Tom Petty said he didn't want his music used by anyone. In 2008 Obama used the same song and Petty said he was never prouder.

The funniest was McCain using "Running on Empty". Aside from it being a really horrible choice in terms of message the idea that a no nukes guy like Jackson Brown would POSSIBLY be okay with it is hilarious. Brown really pushed back including a lawsuit that continued after the election.
