of government? It should be a bright line kinda thing, but in our crazy mixed up society Bernie is marginalized to the point that many here on DU dismiss him out of hand. They may want what Bernie is talking about, but they got to back the favorite because she is the favorite (of Wall Street).

Hillary is. Sanders is an Independent.
They are not in the same category.
This Nation will not survive a dem nor repub this time around. They are the same & owned by the same money.
An independent, is the only salvation our democracy has left and Senator Sanders is the wisest most patriotic man I know.
If he does run for the 2016 office, he has my vote, my campaign time, & my money.
He is the only person worth my effort.
I want all he wants for the future of my America.
This country belongs to its citizens. All of them.
No dem nor repub will stand on the side of our once great democracy.
Senator Sanders, thank you.

Sen Sanders is our last hope. He knows how close to the edge our democracy is teetering on and he boldly lays it all out there for the Nation to see.
Senator Sanders is our last great statesman.
Americans should be marching in the street by the tens of thousands to demand this wise man lead our American back to a true Democracy.

"I worry very very much about the future of democracy in our country".
As do I Senator. As do many.

Outstanding speech he gave today.

And with both the major parties being bought off or seriously compromised by corporate money in politics, he ought to make the ultimate statement and boldly run as an independent. Wouldn't that be a grand sight to behold - the major parties cutting their backroom deals with billionaires and lobbyists, but Bernie circumventing it all and going straight to the people, who desert the major parties in droves, and put him into the White House. Am I dreaming too much, and am I daring to ask for too much? I hope not.

Regarding the whole Netanyahu affair, I just have five words to say to Boehner and the Republithugs: None dare call it treason! And one of the main reasons that they are brazenly defying presidential authority is probably because Obama is black. It really, really sickens me. Bernie is courageously and boldly asserting that the President of the United States should be the man in charge of our foreign affairs. I pray to God that Obama would put his foot down on this. He should even have the authority to deny Netanyahu entry into this country - but will Obama exercise it, or will he cower and cave in? This is political blackmail!
