Put a harness on them, attach leash, instant flop.

It's a cat thing.

The only way to be spared the indignity of being on a leash like a dog is to play dead.
Just think what other cats would think if they saw him on a leash?

The tail was tucked really tight. I had the same experience with a cat....I don't even try anymore. But....this makes me want to do it to my current cats, just to see if the same thing would happen. And I like to torture the cats occasionally so they know who is boss.

Our cats would do the same, I'm sure, if they didn't shred us first.

until they get used to them. This guy needs to leave the harness on the cat for a while so the cat can get used to it.

He'll still have a hard time going walkies. Cats are like unenthusiastic 100 year olds with walkers, stopping to sniff and mark everything outside the door so they'll be able to find their way back someday. Progress will be slow, to say the least.
