Those words make it impossible for the Romney camp to claim that the auto bailout was Romney's idea. And the Romney camp needs to be reminded of those very words. This is a pants on fire lie much like the Swiftboat attacks on Kerry were.

Romney was wrong on the auto bailout and Romney was wrong on his stance not to go inside Pakistan to get bin Laden. This make Biden correct when he says bin Laden is dead and GM is alive and the reverse would be the case had Romney had his way.

10. Michiganders have a long history of voting against their best interest.

As a result of all the northern states, Michigan is dead last in any catagory that matters. But, on the bright side they lead the northern states in infant mortality. Michigan is a lot like the south only colder much colder and without the charm. I left Michigan as soon as I could at age 18 I got on a bus and moved to Wisconsin and now I live in Minnesota, so I know first hand how depressed that state is. I didn't think it was possible for things to get worse, but in the last couple of decades things have gotten much worse. I hope this is the tipping point and people wake up and start taking the state back before things get even worse. Unfortantely I have learned there is no bottom to bad when Republicans get power.

Poor Michigan has been rather bruised and battered, that's for sure. Various areas though are getting more blue, we're working hard to make it happen in the north. We'll be flipping the 30+ county 1st Cong. district blue this year, hopefully a couple of others too. Sadly we're screwed at the state level.
