When those two groups start adopting it, voluntarily because the benefits outweigh the risks, you'll find gun owners outside those two categories happily adopting it as well. I certainly would.

Trick will be retrofitting it to the 300+ million guns in circulation. Try and build that into my Savage .303 from 1889. That would be an interesting engineering trick to see.
