According to the U.S. Census Bureau, white people have another 30 years to enjoy being America's majority race. But come 2045, the white population will make up less than 50 percent of the American population for the first time ever.

So what's a privileged white person to do? Luckily for Caucasians everywhere, "The HuffPost Show" put together a helpful guide to ease the white transition into life as a minority.

5. But here's the problem with this assertion

The original (European-originated American) concept of "race" was essentially - "Caucasoid" ("white&quot , "Negroid" ("black&quot , "Mongoloid" ("yellow&quot . Native Americans ("red&quot were considered too few to really be included as their own "race", and since they didn't exist in Europe, they were lumped under "white" or "yellow".

So suddenly a decision was made to expand "non-whites" into a "race" different from "white" that is not really a race individually (by their definition), by randomly lumping a specific language group (Spanish-speakers) of any "race", but not from Europe (because by golly, "Spaniards", who always fought to be considered "white", could not be anything other than "white&quot . This allowed differentiation from "pure white" European descendents (unless they are from parts of eastern or southern Europe don't really look "white", e.g., Romanians, Sicilians, etc). And I won't even go into the "1-drop" bullshit, and later the "1/8th "black" & 7/8th white" still being considered "black" by law, that was famously burned into history with "Plessey vs Ferguson".

It's so convoluted that it has become nonsense in terms of how they randomly include or exclude groups on a whim, for who is defined as "white" in order to argue the supremacy of or the end of "whitedom" - i.e., creating what many of us dub as "honorary whites". As it is, biologically based on their definitions, "whites" have always been a minority in the world (which is why they declared North Africa and India as "caucasian&quot at one time in history to boost the numbers.

THIS is the mess that Europeans created, nurtured, and vomited forth upon the world.

6. Again with the privelege meme

NM is and has been less than 40% caucasion non-hispanic for a long time, i've lived there since 1955. Just how much racial discord, riots, racial tensions hit the news about NM ? If nothing else it proves that caucasians can be a minority and get along with others. Now if we can keep the damn furriners out like Californians, New Yorkers etc then we can keep the harmony flowing here. Some peeps just cannot get along with others.

I blame Hatch green chile for NM harmonious environs, for that 'privilege' I am thankful for over the other 49 states.

7. White people will remain

the majority racial group in American long after 2045 and probably indefinitely. It would be nice though to live in a country where by 2045 it was becoming difficult to determine race at all, or better yet, no one cared.
