(14,177 posts)He seems decent enough. It can't be good for his health to work there. If it was me my blood pressure would be dangerously high.

(45,984 posts)Mr. Smith is not just a good journalist by Fox standards. He is a good journalist, period.
The MSM has been lowering its standards to that of FoxNews as of late and isn't practicing a lot of good journalism. We are getting the same subtext from the MSM that Mr. Smith finds so unprofessional here. Turn on the teevee and we here "where are the parants?" and "how is looting going to solve any problems?' being asked while the death of Freddie Gray and its context of decades of brutality in the community is forgotten, leaving viewers to think that looting and rioting is just what black people do.

(8,396 posts)Every couple of weeks, sometimes more frequently, there is a story -- inevitably picked up by left-leaning outlets -- about one Fox anchor or contributor or another calling out the rest of his or her colleagues, all of whom are spewing the predictable Fox right-wing nonsense. Ailes then uses these stories as 'proof' that his network is not the GOP propaganda machine that, in fact, it really is. If you don't believe me, make a mental note of what I've said here -- and see how long it is before you see another headline or story about "{random Fox personality} {slams/disputes/some synonymous verb}/{walks off set in protest} over {random topic}." I was skeptical of this when it was initially pointed out to me over six months ago. Since then, I have been absolutely amazed at how often I see it playing out.
