The Amtrak crash that claimed a half dozen lives last week is still in the headlines, but as usual, the real story hasn’t been told by the corporate media. Amtrak has spent millions lobbying to make rail travel less safe, and to take away your right to hold them accountable.

2. Excellent video. Defective rail system in disrepair by design. Corrupt 200M cap

on any and all damages and death legislation enabled by fmr. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX) and others who took rail lobby money during Clinton's admin. The cap must be lifted and the entire rail system upgraded to 1st world status.

is NOT true, the RAIL industry as a whole, essentially FREIGHT rail, has done so. You know, BNSF, UP, all those nice ads we see so often. AMTRAK is a hybrid step-child of the rail industry, and has been treated as such, by congress, for years.
